I started my degree project research with an email to NASA and an exploration of their open source 3D printable satellite models so it feels like the perfect finale to the academic term to have become part of the NASA and SpaceX Crew Dragon spaceflight and Graduate mosiac artwork. The mosaic of Earth is made up of images of 2020 graduates and is being printed and flown to the International Space Station on the 27th May 2020.
The project run by SpaceX and NASA invited this years graduates across the world to submit a photograph to form part of a mosaic of Earth to celebrate their achievements. Given the inability to attend a graduating ceremony this is an amazing consolation. I am delighted to have become part of spaceflight history by having my image included!
